Gather Important Documents

Ideally, you need to have the originals located in a safe, fireproof location in your house.

Digital copies can be encrypted and uploaded to cloud storage, or stored on an encrypted flash drive.

Paper copies should be placed in a small, fireproof safe and kept with your evacuation gear, along with the encrypted flash drive.
